Address by the Municipal Council Member - Representative

The Library of the Municipality of Syros-Ermoupoli is being enriched and it is evolving with the help of the institutions and the people who have loved it since childhood. It still acts as a reference point, through its collections of old and new books on knowledge, research, the comprehension of history, and entertainment.

With the digitisation, besides preserving the Library’s materials, primary sources become available to researchers and everyday readers.

Our Library has taken a step forward.. And if I helped for a while with that I’m happy.Our Library has taken a step forward. And if I have contributed to this even a little, I am glad.
